Goodbye Capello! Hello ******!

Predictable.

A very good manager, but in my view he was wrong to re-instate Terry in the first place.

More important to run a focussed campaign than make a stance on someone's right to be considered innocent, blah, blah.

He has wisely ducked the slating he would get; even if he got them to the semi finals.

His touted replacement suggested he cannot text, email, use the internet and writes like a two year old.

Should get on well with most of the players then.

Redknapp has many more skeletons in his cupboard, everyone in the game knows it and alot of journos, so it will be interesting to see if they have the balls to give him the job.
Personally i wouldn't piss on him if he was on fire after his antics at Bournemouth, West Ham, Portsmouth and my club Southampton, but the public seem to forgive anything in the pursuit of a successful England team.
If in doubt i'll point you in the direction of the book Broken Dreams by Tom Bower and the article;

We're a generation from a sucessfull England team so It doesn't really matter who is next.
I say they give it away in a competition and let a member of the public do it.

"someone's right to be considered innocent, blah, blah."

But only blah, blah if he's accused of something you personally disapprove of, yeah? ;)

.

The FA should bite the bullet and give Stuart Pearce the job :D

If that is what I meant then I would have said it.

Whether he is guilty or not, the distraction of any court case is the last thing the team captain, team, manager and fans need going into a major competition.

Terry himself would realise this and I am sure he understands this is not all about him.

Would you expect me to 'approve' of racism?

I doubt there is anyone here who would.
