Here....if anybody is in any way interested..... are my 2 daily rides. The purple marin is the elusive " bike i should be riding" other my rocky mountain. Both are as big as they come.....and both makes have big headtubes.
I almost gave up with the rm, till i had the threaded forks extended and converted to ahead by gav @August Bicycles . Star he is....cheers.
But even with that you can see that im struggling for both height and credulity! Its hardly pretty!
The 30mm risers with that 20o stem, just get the bars level to the saddle...kinda minimum now for me for any 1.5h plus ride.
The marin is 45mm over saddle height! That i can ride all day, but im on the edge of the stem, with azonic 2.5" risers too!
Hence my quest....don't get old people and try not to crash motorbikes too much if you can help it either!
Hence my quest for a 210mm to 225mm headtube for a new offroader.
