For Sale Gitane Vitus 979 carbon Lo Profile for 700c wheels

Rare carbon 3 main tubed Vitus lo profile for Gitane. There is a middle section of each tube where the black weave is visible. 700c front and rear wheels, 130 oln. 51cm centre to centre. I bought this same time as a Team 753 from a Gitane mechanic, who hinted it had been used professionally. No provenance though. Paint excellent, original raw steel seat 'clamp' grub screw replaced with stainless steel version. Headset included in sale. First and only time I've seen a Vitus carbon tubed lo pro.

Sure! It's looking a bit rough, most of the C Record 1st gen is gone. It has B E initials stamped on the bracket - ex pro? The guy I bought this and the Gitane Lo Pro from said they were all ex team bikes. He had a Fignon 753 but that went for crazy money to a Japanese collector.
