I have 3 of these and absolutely love em. Not only are they light but the Ti gives that extra damping comfort without making geo changes on a rigid frame.

Yup. The additional damping and weight loss of the Ti model makes it genuinely worthwhile, unlike the standard version
..easily converted to threadless too!

Apologies for resurrecting an old thread but I have a set of these bars and I'm curious how you'd go about converting them for threadless, any resources you could recommend?

Hi. You’ll have to find an a-head version of the standard stem to donate it’s clamp, but any length will do so you should be able to source one.
Then just unbolt the clamps and swap them over. The dimensions are the same so they’re interchangeable.

just wanted to provide a picture of an Flexstem with ahead, because I also haven't seen before...
Proflex Flexstem ahead 1995 Girvin cat.jpg
the picture is from the 1995 Girvin brochure, at this time suspension stems haven't been very popular any longer but customers have been asking for suspension forks or full suspension bikes.
So I would assume it's rather rare to get.
