Today they try to sink Holland: rain, rain, rain..............more rain........and even more rain.
Also a lot of wind and even the temperature is not nice.

So a great day to make a good pot of coffee and pick up your tools.

When using proper tools and nice clean components its just a few hour job to build a proper Italian bike:

In a few weeks I will do a maiden trip on a nice location and shure I will share these pics.............

Did the first rides with my bike and is ok. Only one change to make. The freewheel on the rear wheel I can't remove. So looking for another rear wheel because I need that 28 for some serious mountains.

The rest i top, super. I rides like my new bike! Ok spend a lot off time to refurbish this beauty but it's worth it :mrgreen:

Two months ago I had a crash (with my modern bike) and broke the clavicle and many bruises.

My participation at the K2 was in danger. The K2 is a retro ride in Udine/Italy.

Just a few days before the race the doctor give me the green light.

K2 Udine the 12 days cycling on Corse and the visit the Gios shop and have a bike tour with Marco Gios.

At the start

Together with Silvano Contini. Former winner of Liege-Bastonge-Liege and four stages in the Giro d'Italia

Many lovely retrobikes: Bianchi, Masi, Colnago, De Rosa etc.

Then go to Corse and did some cols. Very hard with the old bike and a gear of 42x26

After visiting Corse on the way back home visit Gios Torino showroom and make a tour with Marco Gios

And picked up a repainted frame for one forum member :facepalm:

Same frame as my bike in the topic and going to bring it to him in just a few weeks. He is active on the forum so I think he will make a nice report out of it.
