Hi John,

I've measured my smallest bike (twice) and I am saddened to have to tell you that it's a bit bigger than the Gios, and as much as I want it, my current smallest gives me too much gip in my back already. I'm gutted to be honest. For what it's worth, I honest believe that is one of the 'prettiest' bikes I have ever seen.

i don't hang around much on the road side of the forum, don't currently own a road bike.
however, a couple of days ago i clicked on this as it appeared in the 'new forum posts' panel, and it struck a chord, and tugs on my heart strings big-time! i even used it as a reference in this thread: viewtopic.php?f=1&t=359305&start=30

i completely agree, it think it is one of the prettiest bikes i've seen, absolutely stunning

if i hadn't just blown all my bike funds on a new mtb i'd buy this in a heartbeat

I hate to say it but if you put that on fleabay with Eroica in the title you'd have to think it'd get snapped up. Possibly a little bit too clomplete for here where I think most people like to put a bit of their own stamp on stuff.

There's nowhere worse than eBay to sell a grands worth of retro bike in my experience. You get a load of watchers, no bids and when the bike sells elsewhere, you get emails asking if it's still for sale.

It was sitting in a friends bike workshop and a sales rep just bought it so it's now got a good home.
