After riding this rare red coloured early 1980s Gios Super Record in the Brittanica L’Eroica I’ve decided it needs to go (unexpected van repairs required). There are signs of age on the parts and frame but it rides very well and there are no bumps or dents. The story is (from the person I bought it off) it was a team bike in the 1980s for the Gios team for one of the German riders which is why the Gios coins have been replaced with German Pfennig coins instead. The wheels have been built by Frank Herety who was a very famous frame builder from Manchester (John Herety the Rahpa manager’s father).
