Gios Professional 1984 £260

riverniciato is effectively the Italian for 'repainted'.....a bit like the old Reynolds 'Renovated' decals used after a frame was resprayed...so your frame has been professionally resprayed at sometime.....but anymore more on the tubing.....i thought Nivacrom was later than 1984....EL?...MAX?

sorry i didn't mean to be flippant posting the photo, i realised what i'd done and edited the post this morning to that fact.
i contacted GIos with the frame numer and Marco Gios confirmed it as a 1984 pro frame with a custom paint job.
i didn't ask him about tubing, i'll see what i can find out.
It is light though.

i am the flippant one on most things....so i did not think you were being flippant in any way or shape.....but i did check and the frame would appear to have been resprayed....to what would seem a very high quality of finish.

the pnly searching has thrown up columbus SL but not sure to be honest, but it isn't going to rubbish.. it's a Gios

I am interested...i cannot deny it....but must sell my De Rosa SLX in red with lots of chrome...which is a bit bigger than yours....here are the pics of mine.

The Gios was a bargain and cannot believe no one snapped it up....had agentorange wanted my De Rosa....i would bought it.
