Gios Lite forks - chrome pantographed

Dirt Disciple
Bit of a long shot but I'm after a set of road forks to match my mid 90's Gios Lite frame, currently have Gios branded mizuno carbon blades which are great, but I'm really after an original set of steely's, chromed, pantographed, you know the kind.

Also, could do with a replacement headbadge as mine has pretty worn away from all the vigorous cleaning it must have had, that or it's just badly enamelled!

Thanks

Hey, cheers, have to be quick it seems, thanks alot, i'll check out the headbadge, theres a bike jumble in notts next weekend, might try my luck there!

What length steerer and can you put up a pic of what you expect them to look like? I have some Chrome Gios forks not sure if they are the sort you're after

I suspect these will be too short for you as the steerer is 140mm. That means that if your headtube is 110mm-ish then you'll get a 30mm stack height Tange passage headset on it. The forks you showed in the pics are the sort introduced with the Gios Professional and were used on the early Compacts so date from early 80s. My ones are certainly early 90s and probably more in keeping with a Lite. But if they don't fit then they're no good to you anyway. Mine are new.

Oh my, team forks, they look great but yes your right, unfortunately not gonna fit, my frames a 56, 130mm head tube, they would have looked great too, bought the frame last year and am just starting to build up, as you can imagine, finding a fork that A. is legit and B. the right length especially in the UK is a nightmare! - what kind of price were you after out of interest?

Shame that. The older Gios frames were always notable for the relative shortness of their head tubes. I would have liked £90. I actually also have a pair of the older chrome forks of the sort you showed in your pics but am kind of hanging on to them just in case but if I could be persuaded to part with them they'd cost more but at 160mm steerer probably still not long enough for you.

Re:

I have a head badge at home. If you're interested, this evening I can send you a pic. It's a new & unused one like this.
