Hey all,
I am selling my 1994 (I think) 61cm Giant Peloton Superlite it is a really lovely bike, it handles brilliantly and is quite comfortable although not especially light by modern standards (about 9-10kg without pedals), it is a really lovely two tone metallic blue, but the photos arn't showing it that well.
It was second in the line-up below the Cadex carbon bike at the time, this particular one is fitted with a Campagnolo Stratos groupset with integrated shifters, I think this was only made for a single year, and was replaced Mirage.
I am looking for around £150 collected.
I am based near Mansfield but work in Derby so could drop it off there, could also do West Northants or South Sheffield.
I would prefer to keep it in in the Retrobike family so am trying here before ebay.
It is a pretty good condition but there is some rust on some of the components and a couple of bubbles in the paint.
The other major thing to know about is that the cable carrier in the right hand shifter rounded off and I was not able to find any replacements so had to fix it with some brass inserts. It now works perfectly and should be rather more durable than the original part.
