Giant ONCE informations

The TCR in Once colours is a design classic, heralding the move to compact geometry, distinctive in its oversized tube profiles, bright yellow colour and heavily sloping toptube.

Every bicycle museum should have one.
But they sold millions, and lasted well, so they are surprisingly inexpensive.šŸ‘

I love my ONCE. It was my first real road bike, gifted to me at a good price from a friend and co-worker. Nowadays, itā€™s a little dusty, and a little beat up, but the CXP33 wheels and full Dura Ace package have held up well throughout the years.
Brings back good memories, passed mine on to my daughter whilst she was at university, unfortunately it became a stolen statistic along with an Alpinestars Cromega.

This is the only road bike I like. Very popular. Lot of variations, the TCR was from a midium range to top team bicycle, so you can find some cheap (normal frame and welds but with team colours) and other more expensive but all afordable at least in Spain, the origin of the Team Once (acronim for Organizacion Nacional de Ciegos EspaƱoles)

Great memories: Laurent Jalabert, Alex Zule, Marino Lejarreta, Cabestany, Mechor Mauri, Johan Bruyneel, Abraham Olano, Roberto Heras, Contador .... But Jalabert the one who took more titles in the mid 90s.

I wouldnĀ“t mind to have one, but it is not easy to find the right size and perfect condition or NOS as I havenĀ“t got any road bike in my life and I find strange any road bicycle geometry..
