hi guys, just won a giant atx-D 970 with rst shock and forks with a mostly complete stx-rc groupset ( only te wheels/bars/shifters are missing) on the gay bay for 18 quid! can anybody tell me owt about it? are they any good? thanks

I've got the next model up, the 980. Have had since new in Jan 1997 and used it for DH and XC. Did the job without complaint!

Is the bent dropout replaceable? It does not appear to be in the pics.

no i think its non-replaceable. i reckon i can get it straight though.

okay, don't mean to piss on your chips but an alloy dropout thats been bent and has a crack in it is not going to last very long. if I were you I'd look into reinforcing it somehow.
