Getting rid of a mouse

Don't they say to count yourself lucky if you have a mouse in the house as it generally means you don't have rats!!

We've had the occasional grey squirrel in our roof - now they are unwelcome houseguests!

Not many houses are impenetrable to mice, although we mostly get voles as the dominant invasive species.

In winter, mice get into the campervan and rip up the insulation, eat the wiring and piss everywhere. 🙄

No more Mr Mice guy! Took the bait soon as it got dusk. Wham! I put four traps out, 3 with sardines only and one with sardines and a bit of chocolate in the doorway of it's final rest Mrs Canuk is very relieved. I think (I hope) that's it, only been here afaik ten days, not really enough time to put down roots🤐👌

I found out where it was getting in also: through a loose ceiling light fitting in the garage, a hole 14mm in diameter. Stay safe!

Friends of ours had their own house built several years ago. You'd think being brand new there'd be no access to mice, but they still got in.
The garage was their entry point, although separated from house by at least 20 feet the meeces got in via the underground power cable duct to garage.

The pissing everywhere thing, mice use this to find where other mice have gone and follow the piss trail.

50/50 mix of hot chocolate or cocoa powder and plaster of Paris powder.
The chocolate smell attracts them and the eat it, the plaster powder makes them thirsty so they leave to find water then drink it and die because of the plaster
