Just picked up this Genesis CdF for cheap. Apparently the baby brother to the Croix de Fer and made of Reynolds 520 steel instead. No idea how old it is, maybe 2014-ish?
Sora 3500 2x9 drivetrain, Alexrims wheels, and Hayes CX Expert cable disc brakes.
The plan is to use this as my work/commuter bike as my job is moving location from 30 miles away to just 7 miles, so more do-able on a bike.
It needs a damn good clean, I'll probably strip it down completely and service the hubs, headset, and replace the cables, chain etc.
And I think it might also replace the retro Shogun frame I've been using as a Gravel bike too, so I may swap over the 1x12 setup from that.
Whatever, I'll likely convert it to a flat bar for commuting duties as my back appreciates the position over drop bars these days .
