Yes R20 FE it has an odd serial number that I can't make sense of NA54426xx. I think it might be a bit older than I first thought.

The fixed cup was easier than I expected. A good soak in penetrating oil, a Park HCW-11 held in place with a big nut and bolt and a couple of gentle taps with a heavy hammer

Next the BB shell...

Something close enough to 68 mm...

Cool! Hacksaw and file? Before picture? Did you just remove it from one side or an equal amount off both sides?

Hack saw and file job, roughly equal amounts off both sides. Hopefully the shop can face it cause it's not that good. 24 tpi threads next...

Is it worth saving the kick stand boss or should I just get it taken off?

Decided to go for a Bob Jackson respray rather than a powder coat, assuming retapping the BB shell goes according to plan of course. Just the colour to pick now and a three week turn around so not too bad...
