GATE REQUIRED - aka Large (21" or bigger) frame and forks

I carefully point out that many of the early Carerra frames were made by Saracen or in the same factories as many other brands.

Thanks for the offers, folks....replies as follows

@stewlewis - That looks ideal - but I fear it may be too small. Do you know if Its 20" ctc or ctt?

Anything else out there? Should be able to up the budget a bit for something special out there....? :D

Centre to centre 20"
Centre to top 22"

Toptube centre to centre 24.5"

Bars centre to seat post centre with that stem 29"

Saddle top to pedal top with that post at main insertion 40"

@paddlingpool - Thanks, right size but a bit pricey for me, I'm afraid.

@Antstark - Thanks, I'll bear it in mind, but probably a bit too "slack" angle-wise for this build - I have plenty of "comfortable" bikes at the moment!

Yes, you are right to stomp off muttering  I am a "mid-range" brand snob! However, I would be tempted if it was the Quattro e-stay, so in my defence, I'm not a complete brand snob!

I have this 89. 23 1/2 Tufftrax for your consideration.

Paint is very good but obviously not perfect with a few light scuffs
Looking for £40 for the frame as I want the parts for another Saracen project.
Cheers,
Mark
