Looking to build something out of the spares I have lying around....

So, I am after a 21" or bigger (preferably bigger - I am 6'4"!) frame and fork set. Bring those old "gates" out of hiding - even those 23" ones!

Ideally, I'm after a steel frame (but may consider Alu) - a Marin 20.5" would be great but definitely needs suitable forks (rigid) as well as I always struggle finding the correct forks. A Muddy Fox or Saracen would also be great, but really, anything considered.

Budget for this is about #50, but could possibly spend more if something interesting pops up.

Don't mind a bit of patina, but no structural issues, please or anything that needs a complete respray (trying to keep this to a budget).

Oh, and can pick up in the Manchester area if

Thanks for looking

Hi
Got for sale this Giant Terrago (frame + headset + stem + seatpost) It's having some scratches, rusty points (inside quite clear without lot of rust as pictured) - didn't seen any dents or mechanical damages
From memory it's 22,5 C-T, will check if it's any good

AsI don't need it, it could go even for 40GBp incl international postage (recordered with insurance)
Cheers, Marcin

Thanks for the offers, folks....replies as follows:

@skolioza - Thanks, but Giant's are normally my thing, and ideally wanted something with rigid forks.

@shed - already have a Zasker in the stable, so looking for something a bit different. Cheers anyway.

@LGF - Carerra isn't a brand that does anything for me, I'm afraid - sorry!

@stewlewis - That looks ideal - but I fear it may be too small. Do you know if Its 20" ctc or ctt?

Anything else out there? Should be able to up the budget a bit for something special out there....? :D

Re:

Got a nice condition 1988 Scott Sawtooth in gate flavour (22" I think)

It is one of the comfiest bikes I've ridden :D Would sell with original bars/stem/u brake/saddle etc
