It's an evolution BB by the way, not a normal threaded type.
88mm shell, pressed in bearings retained by circlips, you'll have to reuse the square taper axle.
It's a great bit of kit.

Personally, I've always thought this type of BB is way better than UN-whatever Shimano types. Lighter, cheaper to fix and you never have problems with previous owners chewing up the threads, as there are none! :D So long as you don't break the axle........

Another flimsy excuse to get a pic of mine up now minus the flouro bars! mines a 89/90 so a few years older. Love the old fishers though and yours certainly deserves some attention. Let me know if I can be of any help.

I had a Fisher Paragon back in the early 90's, it musty have been. It had the Evolution 1 1/4" headset, oversize BB shell and seatpost (28.6mm?) and massive frame clearances front and rear, with Fisher Fattrax tyres it was nearly unstoppable in mud. I raced mine with the Covent Garden Cycles team back in the Man v Horse and came 12th, not just because I was quite fit back then but also because it was muddy and while everyone was lugging their bikes through the crap, I just kept riding. Happy days!

Agree with Coomber tho, they're great bikes and greatly underrated. I only sold mine because it was a bit heavy, so I upgraded to a Prometheus titanium. The CR-7 was a cracker too, tho I've not seen one in years.... anyway for a skip find that's right up there with the best, I'm very jealous!
