When I changed the bearings in the bottom bracket it was yellow in the shell so I'm thinking the colour may be original, would be interested to find out more

In that case its probably a '92 model Supercaliber, which was offered in day-glo yellow. Finally, I have something worthy of all the Suntour bits I've been saving up all this time!
