Garmin Edge 500 GPS Bike Computer with mount

I am selling my used Garmin Edge 500 in blue/silver with USB charger cable, all in perfect working condition. The screen has some lite surface scratches but only when you really get the light shining correctly on it can you see them - not noticeable from day-to-day use. And there is a cosmetic crack near the Garmin logo as photographed. It is not structural and is only cosmetic. The unit functions perfectly. I am including a new Garmin 500 mount from RaceWare.

I'm interested in the unit. Are the cracks a result of dropping it and do they compromise the waterproofness at all? Also how old/how much use has it had (especially in the wet) - only my 800 refused to connect to my pc due to usb connector corrosion hence my trepidation... Ta A-H
