My only effort in 2008 was something i had been cooking up since BITD.
Pretty much my perfect bicycle.

Put this 93 Marin Team Issue together as it was when new, even down to the water bottle

Also rebuilt my old 98 M2 Stumpjumper Pro for the umpteenth time

And lastly acquired this 93 Merlin Mountain, not sure on the final build yet, but this is it in a modern'ish guise

Not sure yet what beckons for 2009, bit dependent on funds and how much further I get into photography. So lucky to find something that seems even more expensive than old bikes :roll:
At least next year's pics should be a bit better

Got to say Dr some of those are the most memorable bikes of '08 for me.

Cheers dude. I enjoyed building every one of them, made some mistakes, learnt alot but had fun. Colour is a reaction against all the modern rattle can black tat at the other side of the shed I guess.

Don't expect the same this year though. I did too many last year and I want to spend time and money on my beloved Alfa this year so will be limiting myself to just 2 or 3 builds which i have already started to sort out.

Some nice looking stuff on here. Shamus' Kleins are awesome and Andy L's Funk should have won BoTM; its mad. Bas always turns out some nice machines and his Serrotta is splendid. Also loving the Dean and i hated disc drives until I saw it- very tasty indeed!

Turned out to be a busy year for me, mainly because of job losses I had a ton of time on my hands!

I think that 2009 will be a consolidation year as I have no more room and no more time (or money) and have finally got a group of bikes that I love and can't think of a single one that I now want, except Si's RC100, a Yeti Ultimate, Scants Raleigh Tomac......
