I used to say Fur-quay.

Spoke to Greg a few times on the phone and he never corrected me - although when he said it, it sounded different due to accent! He made me a pair of custom Gumbo forks with disc tabs for Hope disc and sprayed in Rock Shox Judy SL yellow.

Those forks were amazing!

I think it shows the state of the market.....3 years ago it would have been like flies on poop....

I think this would have traded higher as a frame only.

There was an implied tat tax reflected in the bidding, to account for the sheer trauma of attempting to flog the components in the RB 1998+ For Sale section.

eBay seems to specialise in bikes with ITT!

Frame only and posting it would have opened up the audience and interest level quite significantly, but 100% understand that it's a lot easier and quicker to get rid of a complete bike.

I fancied it too.

But the issue is , that it’s miles away and it’s very likely you arrive to be met with a crack or some damage.

My rule is never buy a bike from outside of 2 hours drive that’s not from a person that’s not in the game. Your putting all your hope in that frame being ok as the parts aren’t worth anything
