Now that I've finally finished the Tequila Crested Butte and the Astral fat bike I've been thinking about paint for the ASF. I managed to find two photos of what I thought might be the Blaze paint scheme as asked Daryl if I was correct.

He said, "...red, black and white together are such iconic colors. I think that could be quite classy. I know the oil companies Texaco, Chevron (and many others) did a with this. The thing that is challenging is getting the "right" red or even the right white".

I must admit I was so focussed on the frames that I totally missed the fact that the fork on both bikes are white!

Is it sacrilege to paint a Funk suspension fork? Having thought about it for a few days I'm feeling a little more comfortable with the idea, but still...

I’m trying to find out more about the shock but other than the “NBI 500” text there are no other markings. Do any of you recognise this and could shed any light on who might have made it?

Could it be a Noleen shock?
Colour of the body is very similar to the rear shock on a G.T RTS.
