The question has been raised about the originality of the Frogs.

All I can tell you is that I bought these back in 1992 from a shop in Sheffield called Langsett Cycles, so Im fairly certain they are genuine.

I notice that the new release ones have a plastic hinge, but I cant find any good pictures of the originals, all I know is that back then, I paid about £60 for them (I think) I also bought some Mumbo's to race in.

If anyone can confirm the original design, Id really appreciate it.

I have some originals mate and they have plastic hinges too, the new ones are produced using the original tooling. However they may well be genuine, I don't know.... I have an friend of a friend who works for oakley so I have just emailed her..... If they are indeed real, I'll certainly have them.
