This little hooligan is now for sale, have been using it as a stop-gap commuter while I rebuilt some wheels but could do with the room so now for sale.

It's 16inch a 93 Kona Fire Mountain
Kona P2 forks
Kona velocity stem
Race Face bar
OEM/Kally seatpost
WTB saddle
Shimano LX rear hub on Mavic 217
Hope Ultralight Ti front hub on Mavic 271
Shimano LX rear mech, a bit worn but till working
Shimano LX front mech
Shimano STX 7sp brake/shifter STIs
8 speed Shimano XT cassette (top cog obviously not usable due to 7speed shifter!)
Shimano Acera Cantis
Currently fitted with a Race Face Turbine chainset which I will probably be swapping out for a Shimano but might sell if you really want....

The chain and cassette were brand new about a month ago an it's done under 200 miles on them.
Brake blocks were also brand new, as were all cables so this really is ready to roll and not some shonky heap! Headset could be smoother, but I've got a STX one in good condition that I will throw in that I just haven't got round to fitting yet for when you need it, oh and the rubber stem bung is missing :-(

I'm not really sure what to ask for it but would like to see close to £150* really with the Shimano chain set, a bit more with the Race Face as I reckon I could get £50 for that on its own!

The paintwork isn't in bad shape for a 21 year old bike, and the photo doesn't really do the purple colour justice, it may not be a top end Kona but it a fun, comfy and reliable little bike :)

Collection only really as not in a position to post easily.

*If I'm way off then don't be afraid to say so - would also consider swapping it for something or somethings but don't really have a wants list so just open to options!

Please take it away from my sight, this would be just perfect for the drop bar road MTB conversion I had in my mind....

I could pick it up and courier if needed ;)

Could meet up with you kaz if you wanted it.

Re:

Thanks guys!

I'd had a couple of ciders when I saw this last night, but to be honest I already have two other frames that I could RTB, really I think perhaps I should hold out for a proper road frame and also get rid of all my other stuff first!!

Have a free bump though and GLWS....

Re:

I'm 5'7 and a bit, it would fit from about 5'5 to 5'8 I would think but if you want to check geometry the 93 catalogue is in the archive.

I would consider splitting but only if nobody wants it complete and frame+fork would have to go first, what are you interested in?

Re:

Hi Benjy, they're both a bit big I'm afraid. If you're reasonably local (ie: able to collect) and want to make offer on frame+fork and any other bits then drop me a PM

Cheers
