It would be a crying shame, but I'd also consider splitting and selling the complete LX groupset as one lot, and the frameset as another. It really does deserve to be sold as a complete bike though (and it's not often I say that!).

however and as much as i hate to do it.......if you do indeed split i would be interested in the LX STI brake/shifters, F&R mech, chain, cassette and crank/BB as spares for my GT RTS.

If I did split it, the whole LX groupset would be going together, wheels and cantis included.

Lovely bike BB and such a condition any of us could hope for
What was the retail price on this ? as it was in the running for me back then. Bought a cannondale instead as it was a bit cheaper for my budget.
Think i remember about £600 or £700 was the price :?

The person who I bought it from (who had owned it from new) told me that he paid £750 for it. I can't remember if he said that was with or without the upgrade to the Rockshox Quadras.
