I saw this literally minutes after you posted it. Should have bit the bullet and bought it! Damn. I knew the feeding frenzy would happen but like a fool I never trusted my judgement. Still, hopefully toomanycakestops will build it up to be a bike we can all drool over at a later date. That's somethin' I guess..... :?

Hi,
No sealed bids I am afraid, been after one of these since my perfect cousin Kevin had one in the late seventies. He never road it,and even when daddy bought him a mini in the eighties he wouldn't sell it to me,think he threw it away in the end, still all good things come to those who....
Couldn't be happier, may take me a couple of pay days to find and pay for a nice groupset for it,but I'll post pics when it is done.
Off to Google catalogue scans
Well pleased :D

speedwell ti

atb,Not really sure why I feel I should explain myself to you,
But I picked up a complete bike in the next size up(which is my size) and sold
this to help fund its purchase.
I will probably be doing something similar in Jan. with a Curly Hetchins I picked up at the Muswell Hill Cycle jumble,if that's aright with you?

Pity you didn't put it up for sale on this forum instead of ebay 'toomanycakestops', then a fellow retrobiker could have bought it and maybe others wouldn't think that you were trying to make a few quid... I remember being up for it at the time and it's my size too.

Still, you owned it for 6 months, obviously thought ebay was your best bet and made £50 profit.
