FS: Specialized Carbon Epic Circa '92???

Hi Guys,

I'm selling this lovely classic on behalf of a freind, Its a Carbon Specialized Epic Beleived to be a 1992 model (any help)

Its carbon main frame tubing with steel lugs, a true beauty

Spec is as follows:
Epic frame Measures at 17.5" (no size sticker)
Pace RC35 forks (not used since last service)
Shimano XTR Headset
Shimano XTR Brakes
Shimano XTR Shifter/Brake Lever Combi
Shimano XTR front and rear mechs
Hope TI Hubs on Mavic Ceramic rims
ControlTech Seatpost
Specialized Titanium Bar and Stem

This bike was purchased in America and has been owned from new, It has been His pride and joy ever since and has received nothing but the best care and serviced on a regular basis, It has also been keep in doors at all times too.

Ideally he was wanting £1200 for it as its a reluctant sale, but a good offer from someone off here who is going to look after it will take it,

what did your friend use to remove the paint from the lugs? just curious

epic is steel lug, ultimate is ti lug. above is steel. they were normally painted lugs, which is why i'm curious as to how the paint was removed.
