Hey Folks
It's Pre- Christmas clear out time, and since my mum has ridden this 5 times since I bought it 2nd hand from Chevin Cycles 9 years ago, its gotta go!!!
Not really my specialist subject, but I think the bikes from early/ mid 90's
If any potential buyer would like the frame number to establish an exact date they'd be welcome.
24speed, Gripshift, LX Ft n Rr Mechs, LX 565 Hubs
STX Canti's, full pad life, Sugino C/set.
Mavic 238 rims, no wear. Grey with gum sidewall Ritchey Tyres. Front good but rear will need replacing soon.
WTB Saddle - A slight tear to each edge.
The Frame is a 16", Tange affair. Cromoly forks. Still with original Team Chevin Sticker. Paint great but some chips from storage + chain slap, no corrosion.
Bike is full serviced, polished and ready to go! It's barely seen any use since we've had it, it would seem to have had very little before that too.
Original tyres and brake blocks?
Anyway, a great retro ride for a smaller rider or a pristine groupset to transfer to a pristine retro frame + fork?
I'm setting the price at £190 but as I have very little knowledge of the retro worth of this bike that, could change based on feedback.
I'llbe leaving the DCD on as a special Christmas pressie to the buyer,
mmmm retro chique
Collection in Leeds or can be courier'd anywher for the right price.
Thanks for reading, happy to answer any questions to get it sold
