For Sale FS: Rossin F&F Columbus Max VVGC

I've finally plucked up the courage to part with my Columbus Max Rossin frame and fork. It was purchased new by me around 2005 (as new old stock) and I had Geoff Butler cycles build it up using a Campag Record 9 speed groupset.

As I also have a Merckx MX Leader there's a bit of overlap given both frames have very similar ride characteristic, hence why it's up for sale. As an FYI the paint and chrome are in perfect condition as the frame has been "very" well looked after. The only marks to the paint work can be seen in the last few photographs. I can post a picture of it built up when I get a chance.

Frame dimensions:

TT = 55.5cm C-C
ST = 58.5cm C-C
HT = 17.8cm
CS = 40.7cm

Notes:

Drop outs = front 100mm / rear 130mm OLN
BB = ITA threaded (the Campag UT cups are fitted already and will ship with the frame)
Takes a 27.2mm seat pin.

Frame and fork come with the Tange headset and Campag UT BB cups installed already.

I'm looking for £750 posted to a UK address

That’s beautiful. Max frames can be a bit butch, and yet that is so elegant; got to love a Rossin. Colours are stellar. With a tall seat tube and short TT, it’s dangerously close to being the perfect size too ……

Yes, the paint and decals are really lovely in a typically understated Italian style – unlike some of the other Rossin paint schemes you might see. The frame has been hanging on my office wall since before covid so I’ve finally decided it’s time to part with her. Yes it was a garage queen although in full disclosure apart from my steel winter steed, my steel bikes all live indoors.

I'm confused- this section is for complete bikes; so is the OP offering a complete Rossin for the asking price...all I'm seeing is a frame & forks...discuss...

Sorry to everyone on here. Genuinley didn't mean to cause any upset!

To the mods: I'd be grateulf if you could move this post to the relevant section. Thanks
