I am merely protecting my interests and keeping the frameset in front of any potential buyers. The frameset is unsold - although you are the person referred to in the post. I bumped in case you were not good for the purchase - which, it turns out,
you are not.
It is your perogative (you stated you had no funds until the 15th, that plus the period needed for cheque clearance means the frame is unsold until the 23rd) - to not go through with the sale. Just don't use me as the excuse - you sound like a petulant teenager. I am sorry that I'm such a curt & offensive twat, but that's just the way that I am.
For the record my last pm (Monday 9.58pm) to you has
not had a reply.
Happy New Year.
Roadking.
P.S previous post edited as I forgot to prefix with"I"
.
On Saturday,
24th Dec. at 3.42pm, you sent a message stating . . .
I'll get some idea of postal costs and get back to you if that's ok.
You
failed to do so.
On Monday, you did send a message . . . .
I'll check out the postage (I have a box ready) and let you know soonest .
You
failed to do so.
I'm not sure why you felt you needed a reply to your message, it seemed fairly conclusive to me !
On Monday, I sent this message to you . . .
If you can provide me with the full total (inc. posting) {you didn't}, I'll send you a cheque which you should receive by the end of this week. Once it has cleared, I'd be grateful if you could send it to my work address.
This week means . . .
this week;
not next week or some other week. I'm not sure what was unclear to you - it seems very clear to me !
Despite telling me that you would do so on
two occasions, you
failed to send the details of the postal costs for payment - am I supposed to guess ?; if you'd done so on Monday, you'd have had the cheque by now, it'd have cleared in a few days and I might have had the frame next week. (As it happens, I was so keen to get the frame, that I made a few sales on Ebay last week, to 'speed up' the process & could thus easily afford to buy the frame, via
immediate payment).
I specifically asked you for the postal costs and stated that I'll send a cheque
this week (meaning, I
want to pay you) - and somehow, you interpret that as meaning that
I don't
want go through with the sale ??? :? :?
Tell you what, I'll
still give you £95 for it - but that'd be inclusive of p&p
. . . . . . . seeing as how you 'don't need the money'.
(proves you wrong about my not wanting the frame)
On Monday, I made a
specific offer of payment and requested details & postage to do so; today (Wednesday) you state on this forum that there has been
'some interest' ??? :x
A firm offer to buy, a request for p&p details and payment this week
= 'some interest' ?
What am I supposed to infer from that ? Do you not realise, that I was rather disappointed that you were still touting the bike for sale, when I'd specifically stated on more than one occasion that I wanted it . . . to the extent of asking for p&p details ?
Petulant ? Probably
Teenager ? I wish !
It'll take a bit to sell on the LFGSS forum - you should have taken the generous offer that I made above - £95 with postage
included
I'm not unhappy - I've just acquired a Soens frame of my own - a Tommy Soens, to be precise - even more unusual & desirable !
Roadking old bean; if you really want to sell something, it helps not to have a curt & offensive manner. Chill out a bit !
Roadking, you are a 'BERK'; even worse, you are a
pretentious berk - similar to some others in the V-CC.
