Dirt Disciple
Here we have my old Raleigh Mustang 15-speed mtb for sale. It got me through school and uni, but has been in my mum's garage since forever....well, since I discovered 531, thin tyres and everything beyond.
Most of the parts are original and it has never been in a crash so the frame is sound and it is in decent working order. I would replace the rear wheel as it is not quite as round as it once was, but it is rideable, and it may just be pedants like me who would notice. The right hand fork was rattle-canned blue for some reason during the many years I was not riding it, but I expect the residual blue can be removed. The rack is a little rusty, but I can remove this (and the mudguards) if desired.
The top tube is 55cm ctc and the seat tube is 46cm ctc, so suitable for someone about 5' 4"- 5' 8". It has shimano shifters, shimano tourney rear derailleur, sachs huret front deraileur.
It can be picked up either from Marlow, Bucks or London – it is currently in Marlow but I can bring it to London next weekend.
£40 about right?
