Mr toad m739 are v brake levers. The adjustment alters the grab and feel of the brakes. They won't work for cantis. At least not very well

Hi there , I've got them running with a set of XT M732 cantis on another bike ( an old Marin ) , they work very well.

I read up on them a bit before buying the first set , i don't profess to *completely* understand it , but as per the link , by altering the position of the clips you can shorten the travel but increase the force. The other set of canti's i have running this setup are comparable with the M739 underbar shifters / brake levers and V brake setup i also have on a GT Bravado i own.

I should clarify that my local bike shop guy ( who loves a challenge ) set it up for me.

It is 90mm with a 40 deg rise.
