I've got two identical front wheels...radial spoked Mavic Crossride 6106s. Yellow sealed hubs, black butted spokes, QR axles but no skewers. Good condition, on road use only as far as I know. Hubs run perfectly, rims are true and not dented. Obviously rim brake compatible only, not discs.
Buy them... Not really sure what they are worth or how retro they are...I was going to ask for £20 a wheel or near offer for starters? Collection preferred but I can post if you cover the postage.
Swap them... Need to get my other half's "not quite retro" 2003 Rockhopper up to disc spec, she needs a disc ready rear wheel only that more or less matches looks wise the Mavics on her bike at the mo (Mavic X139 on the front and XC717 on the back) and is 9 speed Shimano casette compatible. Also need complete disc brake kit...cash either way, or existing Mavic 717 rear wheel/non disc Deore LX hub/Avid 2 finger levers/Shimano V brakes can all go into the mix!
