Since the swaps didn't work out, I'm putting my tourer up for sale. I realise this isn't the best time of year for it, but I'm not in a rush!
So, Mid-90's Dawes Galaxy tourer, 531ST frame and fork.
59cm Centre of BB to top of top tube, 57cm centre of seat tube to centre of head tube. As far as I can tell, all original componentry. STX-RC rear mech, RSX crankset and front mech.
As you can see from the pics it's in very good condition. Everything runs smoothly, wheel bearings, headset etc. Quill stem is easy to raise and lower, seatpost isn't stuck, even the saddle's in good nick.
Looking around, £250 seems like a pretty even price. Anyone?
