Got a perfect retro wheel project for someone here. Two pairs of Mavic Classics Pro hub sets, a full set of new Mavic Classics pro spokes and 1 set of Classics Elite spokes from a dismantled rear wheel, plus spoke keys, tyre levers and manual.

Just grab a set of Mavic Open pro rims (or classic pro rims if you can find the actual rims..) and lace, tension and true and you'll have a pair of absolute classic retro wheels.

Looking to sell as a job lot for £150 Ono.

What hole count would the rims need to be? And are the correct rims the same erd as open pros?

Hello. They are 32 hole hubs and laced 3 cross and the spokes are suitable for the clincher version not tubular As far as the ERD, they are the same as Open Pro rims (602mm?) but not the same as the newer UST tubeless versions. Hope that helps.

Is the freehub shimano or campagnolo?

That’s a shame. I had a pair once but they had a shimano freehub I struggled to swap out to campagnolo. Would love another pair. Good luck with the sale

They're fairly common to come by, but no worries. Make me an offer if you like in lieu of them needing a different freehub?
