Does the XT front mech have a shim that you can take out to make it 31.8mm and does the top pull cable run up from the drive side of the mech if you see what i mean (my heckler is fussy about what front mechs will fit!). cheers

I'm not at home right now, I can check about the cable routing when I get home. However, if the shims from a Deore front mech will fit I have a set of 31.8's you could have.
