I am selling a retro classic mountainbike which can run singlespeed, fixed or gears. It has track dropouts on the rear so is highly sought after. Can supply a gear hanger I used with success. I also drilled and tapped the dropouts to take rack and mudguards.
The frame is Tange Prestige and has project 2 forks.
Crossmax wheels (orginal ones that cost 450) with conti kevlar knobblies. All new drivetrain 44 - 16, 1/8 chain
Race face stem, bonti riser bars, alloy seatpost and deore v brakes.
The complete bike rides very nicely.
Now the bad bits its a retro mtb with paint to match. If it was to be your bling bike paint would be a good idea [
] No dents though so its all good.
Rear crossmax wheel has seen better days, a loose spoke and bits of wear on the ceramic coating, however it's been like this for about 4 years. The front is easy to get cartridge bearings and will probably last a very long time.
So if you want something to hang that rohloff hub on then this could be it.
