Reading the thread, it would seem fair to give wadsy first refusal, but that might depends on the conversations you've had via pm or email.
It's really up to you gardensafari on what you do. Being 'fair' is no good if the wadsy backs out because the size is no good and ratbane/MJN buy something else in the mean time.
Personally, I'd take a firm "I'll have it" over a "I'm interested"

I've never seen one in good condition. 1998 was the year they went over to glossy finishes and I think the paint on the Explosif was unusually fragile. This size 17 one below had about 100 small stone chips when I bought it (I don't believe in resprays!)
