Dirt Disciple
I brought this as either an mtb for me or a tourer for the wife, unfortunately it doesn't fit either of us. That Kona sizing, short legs, long back, low front end, darn!... so...
For sale, 18" Kona Explosif frame - I think the very last steel one made. I looked on the web and it seems to be the 1995 model.
Reynolds 853 steel frame and (from memory) Ritchey cast dropouts. Sold with its original Kona stem.
It's had a fairly hard life, the paint job needs attention (horrible colour, horrible graphics, lots of scratches) and the rear drive side seat stay has had a bad case of chain suck, but otherwise, it's straight and VERY light. I had a look inside the b/b shell this morning, and there is no tin worm to speak of, so loads of life left yet.
seat tube: 18"c/c
top tube: 23" c/c
Fill the dent, respray a less garish colour and fit a sus adjusted fork for a cool retro singletrack bullet, or just build it up for a winter hack.

Please be patient if you contact me, I have to use public computers as I don't have my own, so sometimes I take a few days to reply.
