Kona Explosif 1997 19"

I'm the original owner of this Explosif so can let you know whatever history you require.

It's not a minter and has been well used and well loved.

The worst mark is a dent in the Top tube caused by the Dewey 2 bars ends it had fitted. A couple of very small dings on chain/seat stays & chips.

The forks were swaped at new by the shop I bought it from.

You'd get a lot more split though, plus I'm desperate for some matt silver X-Lite bars - if they're still 600mm & there's any way at all I can get my mitts on them, please do let me know!

I'd even be tempted to buy the bike & part it out, but that would be very much at your discretion...

Hello lads,
pm's replied to.

The dent happened about 11 years ago I'd guess, I was in a race went over the bars(one of those you just step out of) the bars spun, it had the Dewey 2 bar ends fitted which did the damage.

I used to ride for Bob Jacksons and I was told by them it would braze fill no problem if I were to have it re-painted.

I'll hold from splitting for the time being, mostly because I have no idea what to ask for the bits.

The bike didn't sell complete

So I'm now in the process of stripping, cleaning and Photoing the stripped bike.

If there's something you would like PM me and I'll send pics when there done.

Otherwise I will post adds when the parts are clean photo'd and ready to post.

There are already 3 people interested in the wheels I'll get to them in order.

I will pm the lads who have asked for bits in this post.

Please let this thread die and I'll post the bits up as there ready.
