Retro Newbie
1992 Colnago Master Olympic with Art Deco paint job.
For sale is a vintage Colnago Master Olympic frameset with straight Precisa fork, original art deco paint work , chroming and decals. The bike and wheels were bought from Italy as NOS 2 years ago and it no exaggeration that it has been hardly ridden in that time, and with only dry use.
The bike is built with period Campag Vento wheels (successor to the Shamal with the same rim). Similar period Cinelli bars are fitted with green Brooks bar tape and an NOS Cinelli A1 stem (80mm) and Record seat post.
Groupset is Campagnolo Veloce 10 speed with down-tube levers. The levers were originally 8 speed Chorus (again period NOS), but I replaced the ratchet from a 10 speed one from some TT bars
It’s been well looked after, the components and frame are in excellent condition with only a couple of minor paint chips which have been photo’d. As can be seen, it is a real head-turner and as well as being a piece of history rides beautifully.
Spec:
Seat tube = 53 cm (C-C)
Top tube = 55 cm (C-C)
Head tube = 12.7 cm
Rear spacing = 130 mm

Cinelli stem (80mm)
