I am selling my Colnago C40
It is a carbon C40 frame (OOF colour scheme) with full carbon 'Star' forks. It is in excellent condition, has a few marks to the clear coat in places but looks A1. I am anal about my bikes, everything works like new and looks mint. Pics do not do bike justice.
It is the winniest cycle frame in history and rides like a dream, super stable, cornering and downhill at speed are sublime. Climbs well and the B-stay is a revelation soaking and dampening the vibrations. I love this bike!
Read this by Rober Millar when he reviewed the C40: http://www.thewashingmachinepost.net/co ... r_c40.html
Size: Traditional Colnago 59cm (centre of BB to top of seat tube); so a 57cm real world: c-c BB to top tube. (Colnago size 2cm greater than 'trad' sizing)
Top tube: 57cm c-c.
I am hovering on the 6' mark and it is fine for me, post is where I ride it at, so a good fisfull!). I would say 6'+ perfect.
Geo chart: http://www.windwave.co.uk/colnago/Docs/ ... _Chart.pdf
Current Spec:
Centaur carbon levers
Centaur carbon rear mech
Chorus front mech
Campag 10 spd chain
Chorus carbon cranks and 53/39 rings (10 spd)
Centaur Skeleton brakeset
ITM Millennium carbon bars
Deda Newton 110mm stem
San Marco Aspide Ti saddle
Colnago carbon post
Mavic Ksyrium SSC wheelset
Michelin Pro3 tyres
All components are hardly used as recently replaced shifters, rear mech, brakeset, bars, stem, tyres, wheel bearings etc
Kool Stop Salmon pads
Colnago black bar tape
Currently has a Jtek shiftmate #1 as I run a Shimano block for ease of wheelset choice (more Shimano blocked wheels than Campag), probably sold with the Mavic 10spd 25-14 cassette (Campag spacing).
I am looking for £1400. Need any more info or pics let me know. I am getting another Nag, not too dis-similar!
