The Bonty obviously has a 135 rear end, whereas the road wheel is 130. I just wound the skewer in till it tightened the wheel and the frame took it. I suspect its because its a steel frame and it has a bit of give, suffice to say I've hammered the Bonty out on the open road and on the rollers and rear wheel hasn't moved so it's perfectly safe.

The road wheels on the Scott are custom built Hope MTB (135 rear) hubs mated to Halo Aerotrack rims. Thus discs on a road wheel setup without pushing the alloy back end about at all.
