FS '90 Klein Attitude-all original, 20" med, Dolomite, MINT

With too many bikes and not enough storage, it's time to part with this museum-grade '90 Klein Attitude. Seriously, this bike is worthy of any serious collection or someone who just wants to get a new '90 Attitude in 2015 (or 2016:) )

I'm the second owner of the bike. I bought it from the original fastidious owner 7 years ago. He rarely rode the bike and sold it because he was moving. When I received it, I rode it a couple times around the block but because it was in such perfect condition, I decided I'd rather preserve it and kept it in a bedroom closet. Before I moved to Boston, I had it professionally packed and boxed and that's how it stands now, ready for shipment.

The bike is 100% original catalog spec. It looks identical to the picture in the 1990 Klein catalog (with the exception of the headset seal - the catalog shows a white headset seal which never actually made it into production; my bike has the black production seal embossed with the 'Klein' logo). The frame, box fork and MC1 have no fading, no dings, no chain suck, etc = no disappointments. The paint is all original (not a repaint). All of the original components are as listed in the catalog = Shimano XT drivetrain/pedals/seatpost, Specialized tires & bottle cage, Avocet Gelflex saddle, etc.

Many high resolution photos can be seen at the following link: https://www.icloud.com/sharedalbum/#B0P5oqs3qSo9aX

If you'd like pictures of a particular part of the bike or component, please leave a note here or email me to me know (duncanjeff@mac.com).

I'm looking for $3,950 which is fair and commensurate for the bike's EXCELLENT condition. Price includes shipping (domestic/international) and all components shown in the pics. If Santa didn't bring you what you wanted for Christmas, why not be a little naughty and splurge on his for yourself? :xmas-wink:

Thanks for looking. Best to you.

Re: 1990 Klein Attitude - all original, 20" med, Dolomite, MINT

 very nice, if it was a small it would be hard to resist.

Re:

In 1990, Klein only made 18" (extra small), 20" (medium), and 22" (extra large). Since you're looking for a small (an in-between size), this might work for you. I'm 5'8" and the medium fit me fine but It should also fit up to 6' or so for those that intend to ride it.

Does the bike include the original avocet saddle or the flite that's in the picture, if the avocet is included I'll be tempted

Re:

How's this?...it includes both :). So to recap - you're getting everything mounted on the bike as shown in the pics (one pic shows original Gelflex, another pic shows the Flite which I prefer - the bike comes with both seats). Hope this clarifies and let me know if you have more questions or if you want to see more pics. Thanks.

Re:

Time to pop Hotwheels...this is right up your street. Had one like this for 6mths bitd. So so pretty

Re:

That is way too nice to ride !!! But you soooo want to. It should be locked a way in a vacuum sealed vault. Maybe take it out to the park on sunny Sunday afternoons

Re:

Really nice bicycle and shows have been well cared .

Lately many comments about the abundance of "dolomite" attitudes are heard, but in my opinion is one of the most beautiful colors from Klein :D

Have a nice day

Re:

Wow, looks like it left the dealer yesterday. Great one, GLWS.

I became curious about the ad featured among your pictures. It states three versions of the Attitude in 1990:
1: Complete XT
2. Team issue(Campagnolo)
3 Super light.

Does any one know the specs of the Super light version? Was it with the Suntour XC line? I have heard about the light version of the Adroit, but never the Attitude.
