Do you take swaps?

hmm at the moment i'm only after a couple of frames - one for my mrs (not sure of the size yet) and one for me in 17in or 18in.
(i know there's a big variation but i'm trying to put drop bars on it so not sure about the reach)

so yeah if you have a rockhopper/stumpjumper in those sizes then let me know. or trek 9xx series too..
prefer aheadstem - not sure what year they started making specialized with those.

Re: 1996 specialized stumpjumper 19" F&F

I have a 94 stumpjumper fs in 18" flavour. It's a frame only. Not in perfect condition but certainly a good rider. I can do a straight frame only swap So you can put your headset, fork and stem on it.

What size seatpost and front mech does your frame take? And what material is it made of? What's the lenght of your headtube?

Re: 1996 specialized stumpjumper 19" F&F

hmm interesting - are FS frames suspension-adjusted? or can you just fit normal forks on them?
i'll pm you the measurements tonight.
can you send me some photos of your frame as well?

Re: 1996 specialized stumpjumper 19" F&F

Fs frames are suspension adjusted, but i ran it with a rigid fork and it was perfect. For the looks my frame needs a respray. Have a set of white stumpjumper team decals. I will try to send you pics. What is your emailadres?

Re: 1996 specialized stumpjumper 19" F&F

a few more closeup pics of the bits where paint has been scratched off. rest of paint job is actually in really nice condition.

by the way i am open to swaps. this is going to be a touring/expedition bike conversion (sacrilege!), so the frame/forks i swap with needs to:
* steel
* non-suspension
* have rack eyelets on the dropout
* have rack eyelets on fork
* preferably rack brazeons on seat stays
* virtual top tube length somewhere around 21in
* aheadstem preferable

Re: 1996 specialized stumpjumper 19" F&F

Hi,

Possibly interested to buy (no swap) if the others changed their mind !

Would you ship to France ?

Re: 1996 specialized stumpjumper 19" F&F

How tall are you?
Is the 19" Centre to top?
Whats the top tube length

Thanks

Martin.
