Time to shift one more shed-denizen. Marked this one as 'easy restoration project' and selling as such. It's a nice starter for someone, and I need it gone as I'm off MTBing for foreseeable and really could use the space.
Diamond Back Ascent
True Temper AVR double-butted cromo tubing
19" centre to top (18"centre to centre)
22.25" top tube
As a further guide - I'm 5' 10" (31 inseam) and usually ride an 18" but this fits me well for general trails and roads. I wouldn't like it any smaller.
All parts stock except missing seat and has recent Cheng Shin tyres.
Good bits: Frame, rims and running gear all in pretty good condition. Frame has no dings etc. Has some stone chips and chain-slap that show a little surface rust. Decals mostly good. Seat-post moves freely. B/B seems fine and pedal bearings good.
Needs sorting bits: Both stx shifter units need replacing or servicing. Rear shifter casing cracked/doesn't work and the front shifter is intermittently slipping. It'd be happier with thumbies. Hubs a bit grumbley, headset too.
Have left just enough grease and dust on it to make it a fun refurb
