French Artisan Road and Race Tag Bikes

There's also this RMO Liberia in Reynolds 753 from an ex pro mechanic, comes with a few jerseys and a coa. Bit more expensive though.

What a great selection of lovely bikes. Never realised that France had so many small builders I suppose it's because all you used to see in the magazines were the 'bigguns' (Mercier, Peugeot, Gitane etc.). I'll have to ask my daughter and son-in-law (who cycles) to look out for bargains at their local 'branckonts' (terrible spelling I know but can't remember the correct one!).

Brocantes! But the real bargains are to be had at the boot sales: vide Grenier (roughly translated as empty your loft sale).

There's an app for that 😂😲

My big hunt right now is for one of Hinaults ex team Look bikes, but in steel, not Carbon.
I'm still trying to convince Bernard to part with his beautiful 753 Aero machine, would be the perfect partner for my Raleigh 753 Aero Dynaflite collection 👍

This is rumoured to be one of Poulidor's 753 Super Prestige race bikes from 1976. The seller wants 9 grand for it, but the provenance is a bit sketchy. Consisting of a bit of paper with Poulidors signed up autograph on it and a photo of him with the bike. I suspect quite a few bits have been swapped out from the original. To my mind it's a bit too minty fresh for a race bitten ex pro bike.
