wicket Senior Retro Guru Feedback View Jul 3, 2023 #1 I have an old rockhopper with a 5 speed Suntour ‘perfect’ freewheel. It’s slipping in the smallest cog so I’m assuming it’s worn. Do I have to replace with another Suntour or would a generic 5 speed freewheel be ok? Cheers

mdvineng Senior Retro Guru Feedback View Jul 3, 2023 #2 Any should work as long as you keep within the tooth count the derailleur can cope with. If you choose the same ratio set, not much should require adjusting, assuming it's correct as is.
