Freeway Yeti Still Alive!!

Retro Newbie
Hi everyone. I have a 30+ year old Freeway Yeti that hasn’t fallen apart!! lol …… I had to replace the original red tyres as they had perished over time but otherwise it’s in not bad condition! I am using it to ride up the road to the horse every morning.
It has drum brakes.
Is it worth anything?

Wow what a find! Not seen one of these for a long time.

Certainly an interesting early UK MTB, probably 81/82? Any date codes on it?

Definately worth "something" but you aren't going to retire on it

Amazing bike, I agree with Doc, you can value it in thousands rather than hundreds, a very rare and early example from a highly collectible boutique brand that's in fine condition, if you do it right and allow enough time for word to spread and interest to build who knows what it might fetch.

Welcome to the site, it is an early bike for sure, made of Hi Ten steel, from a company that continued to make many BSOs over the years. This is perhaps the earliest i have seen from them.

Nothing high end im afraid, with no connection what so ever to the brand YETI that many here are familiar with. I would emulate the post above, it is probably worth more to you as a rider to than the open market.
